Changes to my study programme

Since I started studying Sound Engineering at the Faculty of Arts, one of the things that most caught my attention, unlike other institutes that taught the career, was the completeness and diversity of the curriculum of the career. I had absolutely all those things that interested me when I was in high school, among them, music, obviously, technology and science. That was the reason why I entered to study, however now that I have been studying for almost 3 years, I have realized that there have been certain shortcomings within the university.

One of the main complications that should be able to be solved is the infrastructure of the building, since there are many students who have struggled to improve this aspect and progress has been made in a not very efficient way. In addition, although the Sound Engineering career has the necessary professional audio equipment to learn, much more progress is needed in the use of technology and in the way in which the use of it is managed. I feel that the way of teaching should better adjust to current times and look for new, much more attractive alternatives for teaching, look for a much more enjoyable way to teach classes (despite the fact that at the moment we are studying mostly in a on-line).

I know that these changes are things that take time, a lot of time, however, I would like to think that even though these changes will probably come when I am no longer studying at the university, I would like to know that future generations will be able to study from a much better way and with better conditions, both in terms of infrastructure, equipment and the way of teaching.

The arts need a dignified space to learn and that can be achieved, if both students, officials and academics do our part to solve this.
