My favorite movie
Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk you about my favorite movie of all time. Surely everyone knows it, since over the years it has become one of the most iconic superhero films in history. I'm talking about Spider-Man 2.
Spider-Man 2 is a 2004 superhero film directed by Sam Raimi and written by Alvin Sargent from a story by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Michael Chabon. Based on the fictional Marvel Comics character of the same name, it is the second installment in the Spider-Man trilogy and the sequel to Spider-Man (2002), starring Tobey Maguire alongside Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris, and Donna Murphy.
Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is in the university, he still in love with Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and has many problems: his hero job does not leave him time to study, or to earn money to pay for his studies, or to help his aunt. Also, sometimes he loses his powers. Desperate, he decides to leave his hero career and lead a normal life. His plans are interrupted by the appearance of a new super villain, Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), who an accident transforms into the monstrous criminal Octopus. This movie means a lot to me, since I have always identified with the problems and the way of life that Peter has, who despite having superpowers continues to have the same problems that we all have in our lives, but that doesn't stop him and always find a way to get ahead.
Lately there has been a lot of talk about this movie within geek culture, as it is rumored that will appear in the third Spider-man movie of the MCU, titled Spider-Man: No Way Home. This causes me a lot of excitement as I would love to see Tobey playing the spider again, and now much better, within the Marvel Studios Cinematic Multiverse.
